As requested by `chasing-butterflies, part 2 of my guide to Apophysis. I cover the Transform Editor in this, as well as go through how to create a fractal.

Part 3 will cover gradients, rendering, and post-work - will be coming soon!

Fractal at the top and bottom of this is the one that following the walkthrough in this part of the guide will create :P

umm, the first time I opened the transform editor thing this tutorial worked just fine, but I opened it just now (it's only the 2nd time) and the icons have completely disappeared. I don't know how to really do any of this (such as new blank flame) without icons. Any advice?

Oh well...*Sigh* It was worth a try, but I tried re-installing it and it still had the same thing. Too bad, thanks anyway :)

I had the same problem as AlexNoelleS, except that I NEVER saw any icons o_O I wonder if it's something to do with the version of Windows we're using, or something? I honestly can't figure it out. I'll have to try it on my other computer and see if I get different results.
Honestly, I have no idea...it might be that, it might be that something messed up with your install, I don't know. Sorry!

It's okay, after all I can still manipulate the existing flames, so that's fun. And your tutorial has still helped me to understand how the program is supposed to work, so thankyou!
